PALATKA, Fla. (WCJB) - A live hand grenade was found inside a Goodwill donation bin in Palatka Thursday afternoon.

Palatka Police say the grenade was found outside the thrift store on State Road 19.

Members of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad were called out to assist, and the grenade was safely detonated off site. No one was hurt.
