EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Evansville Thunderbolts turned last week’s teddy bear toss into a special delivery day, dropping off all those stuffed bears to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
A couple players from the team hand delieverd those toys, giving kids and their families a little extra comfort and love during the holiday season.
The team says the annual toss is one of their favorite traditions because it’s giving back during these hard times.
They say they’re always happy to give back to the community for the greater good.
The Thunderbolts say they plan to keep the tradition going, making each goal bigger and bigger.
