A backpacker from the UK has been jailed for four years following a fatal e-scooter collision in Australia which claimed the life of a father-of-two.

Alicia Kemp, from Redditch, Worcestershire, received her sentence at Perth District Court, Western Australia , on Friday, December 12, after admitting to dangerous driving causing death whilst under the influence .

The 25 year old was above the Australian legal alcohol limit when she struck Thanh Phan in Perth on May 31. She was 24 years old when the incident occurred, reports Birmingham Live ..
