Mangaluru, Dec 12: The department of history, school of arts & humanities, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) in collaboration with the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Karnataka, recently hosted a thought-provoking guest talk to commemorate the sacrifice of Onake Obavva, a legendary fearless woman of Karnataka on December 9th.

The event featured Mahesh Nayak, renowned author, as the chief guest, who delivered an inspiring lecture on the relevance of Obavva in the modern context.
