A Hollywood director has been convicted of scamming Netflix out of $11 million for a show that never transpired. Instead Carl Erik Rinsch used the money for luxurious purchases including several Rolls-Royces, a Ferrari and about $1 million in mattresses and luxury bedding.
The director is best known for for directing the film '47 Ronin'. He was convicted of wire fraud, money laundering and other charges, according to federal prosecutors in New York.
