RICHLAND, Wash. – Ben Franklin Transit (BFT) will introduce a new express route, 27x, on Monday, December 15. This new route connects Queensgate Transit Center to the Richland Research District, BFT said in a release.
The 27x route is designed to provide a quick and efficient commute from Queensgate to North Richland. It runs during peak commuting times from 5:20 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The route will take commuters past key locations such as Hanford High School, WSU Tri-Cities and through the PNNL campus, offering limited stops along the way.
In addition to improving local transit options, BFT donated 57 hams to the Tri-City Food Bank’s Benton City Branch.
