Christmas has come early for fans of an award‑winning County Durham film director.

In a schedule shake‑up, the premiere of the latest horror short from Dean Midas, Christmas Eve, has been moved forward from its original Boxing Day slot. The film will now debut today (Friday, December 12), at 6pm.

The film marks the return of Mr Midas’s iconic horror character, Eve Valentine. Usually associated with February 13 (Valentine’s Eve), this instalment places the terrifying figure in a festive setting, offering a fresh, dark twist on the holiday season.
