Stephen Alan Swang, age 71, of Carthage, TN, formerly of Nashville, TN passed away on December 9, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Stephen was born in Nashville and was the son of the late Dr. Axel Swang and Doris Cluck Swang. He was married to the former Connie Shelton for 44 years. He was a graduate of Overton High School, Class of 1973. Stephen worked with the 20th Century Christian Book Store for some 27 years. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.

Stephen was an avid sports type of guy, he loved University of Tennessee Football, a faithful follower of Lipscomb Basketball and the Atlanta Braves baseball.
