Jammu, Dec 12: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday paid rich tributes to General Zorawar Singh, describing him as India’s greatest warrior, commander and military strategist, on his Martyrdom Day. He said General Zorawar Singh’s vision had inspired generations with courage, purpose and commitment to higher ideals.

Speaking at a commemorative event in Jammu, the Lt Governor highlighted the legendary commander’s historic military campaigns across Ladakh, Baltistan, Gilgit and Skardu, and underscored his decisive role in the expansion of the Dogra Empire.
