The space of a popular Boston nightclub has been transformed into a tropically inspired cocktail lounge celebrating the sounds, styles and tastes of 1950s Havana.

My Girl, which took over Mariel Underground that closed back in June , made its debut at the start of December.

The underground lounge and social club is the latest venture from COJE Management Group , which oversees several concepts, including Yvonne’s, Coquette, Caveau and Mr. H .

Tucked beneath Mariel at 10 Post Office Square, My Girl is almost a complete 180 from its former space. Concrete walls have been painted gold as an homage to Cuba’s golden age while Art Deco accents and comfortable seating further create a warm and welcoming environment.
