EVERETT, Mass. —
A man arrested in connection with a serious hit-and-run crash in Everett on Sunday is now ICE custody.
According to an Everett police report, Brando Diaz-Sanchez admitted to hitting a woman on Broadway at Summer Street.
The victim sustained serious injuries, including a brain bleed, according to officials.
The suspect was later arrested at a nearby home without a license.
A spokesperson for ICE said the suspect, who they identified as Deyvis Diaz-Sanchez, entered the US illegally back in 2022.
“On Dec. 9, 2025, ICE Boston arrested Deyvis Diaz-Sanchez, a criminal illegal alien from Peru, after his release from state custody," the spokesperson said.
