The Strictly Come Dancing semi-finalist has secured a festive show.

Strictly Come Dancing sensation George Clarke has secured a major BBC presenting opportunity.

The YouTuber has progressed to the semi-finals alongside professional partner Alexis Warr, competing for the coveted glitterball trophy against Amber Davies , Balvinder Sopal and Karen Carney.

Following his success in winning over countless new fans, George is set to present a programme on Radio 1 on Christmas Day.

The social media personality was revealed as part of the BBC's festive schedule, with his pre-recorded show broadcasting from 3pm to 4pm.

Other hosts on the day include GK Barry and Ella Rutherford, plus Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo, alongside Jade and Munya Chawawa, reports Wales Online . Strictly
