The holiday tree is lit in Tiber Park and thousands of twinkling lights festoon many trees along Main Street. The huge mill wheel on the corner of Main Street and Old Columbia Pike is now covered by an ever-huger wreath covered in lights. The town is looking good.
Check out the shop windows, too — always fun to see the creativity there. And of course don’t miss the Holiday Train Exhibit at the B&O Railroad Museum, Ellicott City Station — always free admission and a must-see at this time of year. Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it!
Hanukkah (also called Chanukah) starts at sunset Dec. 14. All are welcome to join in the celebrations put on by Chabad of Ellicott City . On Dec. 14 they are offering a program for those 18 and younger starting at 10 am and for those older than 18
