The high school boys basketball season is underway, and there are several local teams with hopes of reaching the WIAA state tournament in March.

Dominik Baxter, sr., Peshtigo
The 6-foot-5 guard-forward and team captain has been one of the best players in the Packerland Conference the past two years, averaging more than 20 points in each campaign.
