If you’re curious whether or not we’ll experience a white Christmas this year, the Old Farmer’s Almanac has some predictions.

The publication’s long-term forecast has been released for the holiday, and with it, their best estimates about where snow might be seen on Dec. 25.

“While we all know that nature can be unpredictable, the odds are that the snow will fall mainly in the Central region of the U.S.” their website reads. “According to The 2026 Old Farmer’s Almanac, most of the United States will be seeing a milder, gentler winter than average.”

The map included in their forecast shows a wide stretch of the central United States where there’s a decent chance of snow this Christmas.
