HURON COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The prosecution will continue to present its case Friday in the fourth day of the jury trial for Paul Hicks, the Sandusky man accused of killing his ex-wife in 2001.
The jury trial for Hicks began Tuesday, Dec. 9, in Huron County Court of Common Pleas.
In April 2025, Hicks was indicted on three counts of murder and one count of kidnapping.
Hicks faces life in prison if convicted of killing Regina Rowe Hicks, 25.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said Hicks went missing on Oct. 18, 2001 after leaving her boyfriend’s home to pick up her son.
Her body was found on Oct. 22, 2001 in her Camaro in a pond at Section Line Road 30 in Willard, said Yost.
