HUNTINGTON — The first hearing in Huntington and Cabell County's renewed opioid case against three major U.S. drug distributors has been canceled.

Southern District Judge David A. Faber canceled the hearing, originally scheduled for Tuesday, following a joint submission from the parties stating their preferred nature of further proceedings. Instead of the hearing, Faber will issue an order, informing parties on how the case will proceed. Legal Affairs
