New Zealand crushed the West Indies by 9 wickets on Friday (December 12) to win the second Test of the ongoing three-match series in Wellington. In the match played at Basin Reserve, the Kiwis bowled West Indies out for 128 runs in their second innings and then chased down the target of 56 runs in 10 overs for the loss of only one wicket. The win over the Roston Chase-led side helped New Zealand rise from 7th to 3rd position in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 points table.
