NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Multiple school districts in Middle Tennessee opted to delay classes due to dangerously cold weather on Friday morning.
Students in Clay, Pickett, Overton, and Fentress counties can sleep an extra two hours on Friday. The school districts decided to let the overnight freeze burn off the roads a little before parents and buses head out.
Some areas of the Midstate saw some light snowfall overnight, which would further complicate Friday morning’s commute.
