Alison Hammond responded to Strictly Come Dancing fans demand for her to be the next presenter on the BBC series. In just over one week, the Strictly Come Dancing winner of 2025 will be announced, and one celebrity will be lifting the coveted Glitterball trophy.

Amongst the glitter and excitement, however, this year's final is expected to be met with a tinge of sadness as presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will officially bid farewell to the BBC dancefloor. The pair took to social media to announce the heartbreaking news two months ago, just as the 2025 series kicked off in style.
