A tragic crash on a major A road in Powys has claimed the lives of three people and left another seriously injured. The incident took place around 5pm on Thursday, December 11, on the A489 between Churchstoke and Lydham, near the English border.

Dyfed Powys Police have confirmed that the collision involved two vehicles - a grey Audi A4 and a red Toyota Yaris. Tragically, both occupants of the Toyota Yaris and the driver of the Audi A4 succumbed to fatal injuries .
