A ctor Parvathy Thiruvoth has reacted to the sentencing of Pulsar Suni and five others who received 20 years of rigorous imprisonment in the 2017 actress assault case . In a social-media post, Parvathy wrote that the court had given the minimum punishment with maximum consideration to the convicts.
“Minimum sentence. maximum consideration for criminals. No country for us women. Ok. Noted,” she wrote.
“Whenever criminals file an appeal, there is every possibility that their sentence may be reduced. And this is happening in our Kerala. Are we expected to first survive the assault and then survive the legal system?” Parvathy added. screengrab
