Glassell Park— Two people are hospitalized today after they were shot in a drive-by shooting police believe was gang-related in Glassell Park.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the 3200 block of Fletcher Drive near Avenue 32 around 12:54 a.m. today where they learned five people were sitting in a vehicle when two suspects drove by them and fired several shots into the victims' vehicle, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Two victims were taken to a hospital, one in critical condition and the second in stable condition, police said.
The suspects drove away from the scene in an unknown direction.
KTLA reports that the suspects fired 20 rounds as the victims attempted to leave the area.
