High Court slams Ferozepur Police, orders immediate release of Gurpreet Singh Sekhon on bail

Chandigarh/Ferozepur, December 12, 2025: Taking strong note of the actions of the Ferozepur police and administration, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has ordered the immediate release of Gurpreet Singh Sekhon on bail. Justice Sanjay Vashisth passed the orders while hearing a petition filed by Sekhon’s mother, Kulbir Kaur Sekhon.

In her plea, the petitioner alleged that her son had been kept in illegal custody by Kulgari Police Station in Ferozepur.
