AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - The 32-year-old man accused of attacking a woman in the Summit Metro Parks in 2024 was found not guilty by reason of insanity on Friday.

In August 2024, Issac Armour was indicted on the charges of kidnapping, attempted rape, abduction and gross sexual imposition for the Aug. 13 assault on Cuyahoga Street near Trailhead.

Akron Police said Armour grabbed the 33-year-old woman from behind and began to assault her as she exited a bathroom.
Three Good Samaritans heard the victim screaming and were able to pull her away from the attacker, said police.
