BENGALURU: Haphazard parking on side roads in the city has become a nightmare for drivers. In response, the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has begun preparations for towing away vehicles obstructing traffic flow.

One towing vehicle has already been purchased, and four more are expected to be added soon across the city’s municipal zones. Especially for those who park their vehicles haphazardly on the roadside will be targeted.

Traffic congestion, traffic‑flow problems and parking issues have increased in Bengaluru. Vehicles are parked on the roadside and in streets for months on end, creating problem to move other vehicles.
