Former Green Bay Packers center Josh Myers, who was allowed to walk in free agency this offseason, has signed an extension with the New York Jets. Myers signed a one-year, $2 million contract in free agency, coming off an injury in the Packers’ playoff loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, he’s set to make $11 million over two years in 2026 and 2027.

Myers was the 62nd overall pick in the 2021 draft and started for three and a half seasons in Green Bay. He’s started all 13 games that he’s been active for with the Jets in 2025.

The Packers replaced Myers with Elgton Jenkins, who moved from guard before going on season-ending injured reserve with an ankle injury. Now, Green Bay’s starting center is Sean Rhyan, who is heading into a contract year. Rhyan has been a rotational player for
