The mum of a three-year-old from Gateshead has been left 'scared' after her car was broken into and her bag was stolen, along with her child's nursery bag. On the morning of Wednesday, December 12, Iuliana Toma woke up to her car window smashed, after the incident on Denton View in Blaydon .

Northumbria Police has confirmed that it is investigating the report of theft, which Iuliana informed officers of at around 5.45am on Wednesday. Police are also asking for anyone with information to get in touch with them, as enquiries into the incident continue.
