ELYRIA, Ohio (WOIO) - The Elyria Police Department Special Response Team executed a search warrant Friday as a result of an extensive drug trafficking investigation.
The warrant was issued for 400 Adams Street and the investigation was conducted by the Elyria Police Department Narcotics Unit in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
According to police, the investigators recovered the following items:
Over 800 grams (three-quarters of a kilogram) of cocaine
One stolen handgun
One shotgun
A large amount of U.S. currency
A stolen Chevrolet Camaro
Elyria police said as a result of the investigation, detectives arrested Shaundale Brown, 37, of Elyria, and is charged with the following offenses:
Trafficking in Drugs-Felony 1
Possession of Drugs-Felony 1
