Wrexham have confirmed this week that US sports investment firm Apollo Sports Capital (ASC) has acquired a minority stake in the club .
The deal saw Apollo take a share of just under ten per cent and values Wrexham at around £350million . The Championship club said the aim is to support the owners' ambition of achieving promotion to the Premier League and fund major infrastructure projects.
The earmarked schemes include the redevelopment of the Racecourse Ground and construction of a new Kop stand as part of the Wrexham Gateway regeneration initiative. ASC's investment follows the appointment of Al Tylis, a long-time business partner of Hollywood owners Ryan
