The Ann Arbor area was well represented when the Associated Press released its all-state football team for Divisions 1-2 on Friday.
Five players received first-team recognition, five other players earned either second-team or honorable mention praise, and Dexter head coach Phil Jacobs was named Coach of the Year.
Quarterbacks Cooper Arnedt (Dexter) and Tommy Carr (Saline), receiver Cole Novara (Dexter), tight end Lincoln Keyes (Saline) and linebacker Bryce Barbarino (Saline) were selected to the first team.
Offensive lineman Owen Winder (Dexter) and defensive lineman Isaiah Harris (Saline) earned second-team honors and running back Eduardo Casares (Ann Arbor Pioneer), tight end Holden Niemi (Dexter) and linebacker Nathan Gersh (Dexter) earned honorable mention honors.
