PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – Orange High School senior Sarah Korland has been named Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle Senior of the Month for December.

The National Honor Society secretary and Highest Honors student thrives academically with top Advanced Placement exam scores, according to a news release from the Orange City School District.

Sarah volunteers extensively through Broadway Buddies, Glamour Gals, Stagecrafters Community Theater and the Kiwanis rummage sale.

She serves as vice president of both the OHS Model UN and Mock Trial teams, garnering multiple top awards. Most recently, she was the highest-scoring witness at the Kent State Black Squirrel Mock Trial Invitational.

Sarah’s school spirit is contagious as a member of the Spirit Club and as a two-year varsity basketball cheerleader.
