Rabbi Shea Kaltmann said food and sports are two great ways to unite people regardless of religion or background.
That’s why Kaltmann of Chabad Columbus is so excited to be holding Jewish Heritage Night at the Columbus Blue Jackets’ matchup against the Minnesota Wild on Dec. 18.
“It’s a fun time for the Jewish community to get together and celebrate both Chanukah and our Jewish heritage,” Katlmann told the Columbus Jewish News. “And there’s no better way to do it than with some kosher food at a Blue Jackets’ game with great company. We can’t wait for it and are excited to see everyone there.”
This is the 13th year that Chabad has held the event, which will take place on the fifth night of Chanukah. The game starts at 7 p.m. at Nationwide Arena at 200 West Nationwide Blvd. in Columbus.
