NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Two Nashville teens have been arrested in connection to an armed carjacking Thursday evening.
Metro Nashville Police say a masked gunman knocked on a woman’s window as she was parking her Toyota sedan outside her home on the 7200 block of Althrop Way.
The armed person demanded she hand over her keys, so she handed them over and watched the suspect drive away, according to Metro Nashville Police.
Later, the stolen vehicle was found along Zermatt Avenue, where a police helicopter pilot saw two males hop out of the sedan.
Two 17-year-olds walked to an apartment in the area, where police soon appeared and took them into custody.
Inside the home, officers say they found:
a nine-millimeter pistol
a ski mask
gloves
and keys to the carjacked vehicle
