MOUNT PLEASANT — After officers were reportedly shot at while chasing a suspect driving at over 100 mph, Charleston County deputies arrested a teenager when he crashed the car he’d allegedly stolen Dec. 11, officials say.
The suspect is 17-years-old, according to sheriff spokesperson Lexi Douglas. He has not yet been identified.
He faces seven charges in connection to the incident, including one count of attempted murder, resisting arrest with a deadly weapon, possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to stop for blue lights, and firearm-related offenses.
