On Friday at 11:50 a.m. a winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid from Saturday 10 a.m. until Monday 7 a.m. for Cambria and Somerset counties.
The weather service says to expect, "Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches with higher totals on the tops of the ridges. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph."
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute," describes the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1."
