Pauline Potter, who gained national attention as a cast member of the TLC reality series “My 600-Lb Life,” has died at 62 following a prolonged period of health struggles, Entertainment Weekly reported .

Her only son, Dillon, announced her death in a video posted online, saying she died on Thanksgiving Day after complications from injuries and illnesses suffered throughout the year, EW said.

Potter and her son were involved in a serious car wreck in January 2025 that left her with several injuries, including broken ribs, a wounded leg and damage to her hand, according to USA Today .
