IndiGo parent moves HC against double customs duty on reimported parts

InterGlobe Aviation, the parent of IndiGo, has approached the Delhi High Court. The company is seeking a refund of ₹900 crore paid as customs duty. This duty was levied on aircraft engines and parts reimported after repairs abroad. InterGlobe argues this is an unconstitutional double levy. The court will hear the case on December 19.
