California Attorney General Rob Bonta, with support from other states, has filed a lawsuit to block a dramatic increase in H-1B visa fees announced by former President Donald Trump.
The new order, revealed in September under Trump, raises the annual H-1B fee for employers from a few hundred dollars (or $4,000 for large companies heavily reliant on foreign workers) to $100,000.
