Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse linebacker Fatim Diggs, the brother of NFL player and former SU standout Fadil Diggs, said he will enter his name into the transfer portal when it opens in January.

Diggs posted his intention to explore his options on Instagram.

Diggs played 12 snaps on defense and 46 on special teams over the course of five games last season, according to Pro Football Focus. He did not play after the Orange’s game against Pittsburgh on Oct. 18.

He made three tackles and was credited with a pass break-up in 11 defensive snaps against Colgate. He played one defensive snap against Duke.
