Pauline Potter, known for her time as a cast member on the TLC reality TV show “My 600-Lb Life,” has died at the age of 62.
Potter’s son, Dillon Brooks, shared the news on YouTube that his mother died on Thanksgiving Day due to complications from injuries sustained throughout the year.
The pair had been in a car accident in January, in which Potter suffered from broken ribs and a wounded leg.
“August 20 was the last time she was at home, and she has been in the hospital since then,” Brooks said in the video.
Following the crash, Potter was hospitalized over the summer due to a blockage in her esophagus and a battle with COVID-19. She continued facing health issues before she was transferred to a hospice facility in November after medical professionals told Brooks “there was nothing e
