It has been cold in Maryland with two weeks of below normal temperatures, and the trend will continue this weekend with some possible snow accumulation.
Meteorologist Dalencia Jenkins is monitoring a potential system that would hit Maryland Saturday evening. It is still early to make a prediction, but it does appear to be an increasing signal of accumulating snow heading into early Sunday.

Temperatures on Saturday will reach the 40s but will drop below freezing for the evening and could set up perfect conditions for the snow to stick to surfaces and roads.
The system is expected to begin as a mix of rain and snow on Saturday, but it will then switch to snow overnight into Sunday.
