Down Cemetery Road official trailer

Apple TV’s hit crime drama Down Cemetery Road is officially returning for a second season.

Based on a 2003 novel by Slow Horses author Mick Herron, the eight-part drama was brought to life by writer Morwenna Banks and it premiered to strong reviews back in October this year.

Emma Thompson stars as private investigator Zoë Boehm, who is hired by museum conservationist Sarah Trafford (played by Ruth Wilson) to investigate the disappearance of a girl on the same night a mysterious explosion occurs.

Primarily filmed in Oxford and Bristol, Cornwall fishing village Polperro and Holywell Bay near Newquay were also used as backdrops in stunning scenes for this gripping thriller.
