The Powerball is once again up for grabs with a dizzying estimated jackpot of $1 billion. It'll be the seventh largest in the game’s history come the next drawing.

In the latest draw on Wednesday, Dec. 10, three tickets sold in Maryland, Michigan, and New Jersey won $1 million prizes, according to Powerball .

If someone wins the jackpot in the next drawing, they’ll choose between an annuitized prize estimated at $1 billion or get a lump sum payment estimated at $461.3 million, both before taxes.

Also up for grabs is the Mega Millions, which has an estimated jackpot of $70 million.

When is the next Powerball drawing?

The next Powerball drawing is at 7:59 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, according to the California State Lottery. Powerball drawings are every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
