EAST LANSING- The Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) reported nearly 1.4 million spectators for its 2024-25 school year events, marking the third consecutive year of high attendance despite a slight decline from the previous year.

MHSAA events drew a total of 1,397,574 spectators, a 3.6 percent decrease from the 2023-24 school year, yet still the third-highest attendance in the past eight years. Baseball set a new record with 65,150 spectators, contributing significantly to the overall attendance figures.

In addition, baseball garnered 38,086 spectators at the District level and 7,517 at Quarterfinals, with every round showing an increase from the previous year.
