AUSTIN, Texas -- Wisconsin volleyball is, once again, elite.
The No. 3-seed Badgers won a hard-fought battle over No. 2-seed Stanford, 3-1 (25-17, 21-25, 25-23, 25-22), to advance to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
Mimi Colyer played one of her best matches for Wisconsin, tallying 27 kills on 51 attacks with just 8 errors. She also added 10 digs.
Carter Booth and Una Vajgic also made waves in the scoring, with Booth tallying 14 kills and Vajagic getting 13.
Wisconsin tallied 6 aces in the win, with Natalie Wardlow getting 4 of them. They needed that momentum, as the Badgers also committed 10 service errors.
