MEDINA, Ohio (WOIO) - Timothy Mowery has water flowing in his house again after going eight days without it.

“Having water is something that... don’t take it for granted because you’ll miss it when you don’t have it,” said Mowery.

Mowery’s told 19 News about the problem last week .

His water heater started leaking on Thanksgiving, forcing him to shut off the water to his rental property.

He said he contacted his landlord but received no response for over a week.

During the eight-day period, Mowery had to visit a gas station every time he needed to use a restroom and by gallons of water so he and his pets would have something to drink.
