TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - A Tucson family is facing a devastating situation after a tragic car accident claimed the lives of a mother and grandmother in Mexico. The family is now reaching out to the community for assistance to bring their loved ones' bodies back to the United States.
The Guido family reported that the accident occurred near Obregón in Sonora on Monday, Dec. 8, just six hours into their holiday road trip. The vehicle carried 18-year-old Angel Guido, his father, his mother 55-year-old Mariana Guido, and his grandmother 85-year-old Dominga Jacinto. The family, who are longtime midtown residents, shared that Mariana was a cherished member of the Flowing Wells community.
