HOLYOKE ― Tessa Murphy-Romboletti, the first woman to lead Holyoke’s City Council, has locked in a second term and is calling all councilors to the table — literally — for a retreat aimed at aligning priorities and defining the city’s next chapter.

When her second term starts in January, she will invite councilors to a half-day retreat to help set shared priorities, she said in a statement.

She said her next term will focus on working together and setting a clear plan for Holyoke’s future.

“Last month’s election results made one thing very clear: the people of Holyoke want a government that works together toward a common purpose,” Murphy-Romboletti said.

She said she is honored to have her colleagues’ trust again and wants to bring people together to focus on serving Holyoke residents.
