Amber Vickery is no stranger to the inner workings of Pulaski County Schools. Starting in January, however, she'll have an even better seat for viewing the big picture.

Vickery was selected by the other four members of the Pulaski County Board of Education on Tuesday to fill the seat recently vacated by Patricia Edwards, who recently resigned from the board due to a relocation.
